Photography
A1 I feel like in this image there is too much going on. There are several cheerleaders and many football players in the background. The image is dark, and the the rule present in the image is mergers. The lighting is dark, but not in a good way.
A8 I chose the photo of the girl doing a flip on the balance beam. The lighting of this image is good, and the rules present are mergers and lines. Kate Stubbs is the main subject of the photo because she's placed in the middle of the image.
B1 The image of the girl on the horse has good lighting especially since it was taken outside. The rule of lines, mergers and simplicity are all included in the photo. The photo is good, but has a bit of a shallow depth.
B5 The huge collage of the Tommy play is really creative. Each image is simplicity, and they're all cut out. The lighting of the images are good, but the depth of field is shallow. The main subjects of each photo are of the cast of Tommy.
B8 The image of the girl holding the sign "Girls just wanna have fundamental human rights" os the main subject of the photo. The lighting is okay, and the rule of simplicity is noticeable. There's also a shallow depth of field.
My favorite image in the magazine is the Tommy collage. I feel like it's sweet, and creative. I chose it mainly because I think the concept of collages are cool, and the person that made it did a good job. Everyone form the play is included in the photo, so I feel like it's special. The images are all simplicity, but overall as a image it's mergers.
My least favorite photo is on page A2 of the principle. I feel like the image is boring, and it's one of the only one's in black and white.
If I was a photographer in this newspaper I would have liked to shoot the Women's march. I feel like a lot of women had a bunch of great signs, and I love to spread equality around.
