The Dispatch Review

Cabaret moves toward a new direction by Jake Brien
I find this story interesting because I just found out the choir teacher from last year had left. I didn't know the choir department had a new teacher leading them into the great direction they're going in. I  like how the author gives people at Bowie an inside of what it's like with the new teacher, some love him and some don't care about him. I wish I had gone to see Cabaret because it sounds like this show was a lot of fun for the cast and for the audience. Next time the choir performs I'm going to try my best and attend to their performance.

Friday the 13th- a debatable superstition by Mo Orr
First off, I was intrigued by this story because of the title and photo provided. I'm in love with conspiracy theories and Friday the 13th is a popular one in the books. The story provides people's personal beliefs of Friday the 13th and whether or not it is an unlucky. I love this story because it's a great topic to be written about and especially since there was a Friday the 13th in October the story is ten times better because it seems as though it's superstitious.
