Dalí Atomicus

                              

I chose this photo because what's going on in the photo is very chaotic and it has cats in it. There's a flying chair and all objects are in the air, so I'm interested to see how they shot this photo. 

This photo was created with Halsman's assistant Salvador Dali and the help from his wife, daughter and many more assistance. On the count of three they threw a bucket of water and threw 3 cats. It took 26 times for Halsman to get the picture that he wanted. 

Dali and Halsman collaborated together for 37 years. Dali was the artist of the collaboration and Halsman took the photos. Halsmen used clear string to hang the easel, the stool and picture, and his wife to hold the chair.
