My favorite photo is called "Drop the Boss," taken by Maria Martinez. A girl is holding a container of red paint and you can see her make the paint come out of it. The photo has the reddish paint in little balls that are falling down onto a black surface-like object.
1. I chose this photo because I really like how the picture caught all the little droplets of red paint splashing onto the black surface. The color is very vibrant and it drew my attention away to it.
2. The rules of photography shown in this photo are balance and mergers. There's balance because the paint is spread evenly through the middle of the photo and the girl in the background is in the center so there's the same amount of spacing on each side of her. Then, the girl is a merger because even though she's blurry it still takes the affect of the paint away. In the photo you just want to see the paint droplets, and not anything else.
PART 2:
1). I think I could take photos similar to the ones i viewed by going to a science class or my art class to get good photos.
2). I would like to take photos in Mrs. Abbott's room because I personally love art and I would love to get pictures of people or some art because it's something I enjoy a lot.
3). Getting good photos requires me to make sure that my camera is in focus, making sure I don't have mergers like the pictures I took for my prompt shoot, and lastly the right camera angles will dramatically improve my photos.
