Photo Manipulation and Ethnics
A. The main points thorough the website is, Photoshop is unethical, but it's used in many magazines and newspapers. Photoshop changes pictures to make them look better, or even make it worse.
B. The philosophy of the Washington Post and the New York Times is that they use Photoshop on their original photos to make them "look" better, but the public doesn't know, which is unethical. Giving the audience or public the real image is ethical.
C. I think acceptable things you could do to an image is adding exposure or lighting to photos to make it a little more clear or bright, and making SOME color correction.
D. Post the manipulation (this means get that image and post it on your blog) that you think was the most unethical, and explain why you think it was unethical. If you do not know what the word ethic or unethical means, look them up on the internet. It is very important you know what those two words mean. Please write at least 2-3 sentences explaining why you think it is so bad.

I think this photo is the most unethical to me. The Photoshop or changes in the photo are too much. The girl on the left and the girl on the right are the same photos, but the only difference is that they have different heads. No one would know that the girl on the right is Photoshopped IF the person who made the photo didn't expose the original photo to the public.
E. I think this photo is the most ethical because this image wasn't Photoshopped at much as other magazine covers. It's a lot less noticeable that the photo was changed at all.
