John Gutmann

John Gutmann was born on May 28 in 1905, and was born in Wroclaw, Poland. He later died on June 12, 1998 in San Francisco, California. He went to college at the Prussian Academy of Arts in 1928. Gutmann's main job is being a photo-journalist. He had a contract with the Berlin press agency, but then he broke his contract to make a new one with Pix in New York. Later, he began to teach art at San Francisco College, which later became his main profession after World War II. He didn't write any books, but has had several books written off of his photography.
